Objectives

The overall objective of the meeting is:

“Gather and share existing experiences in Mexico and other countries or regions on the inventory, assessment, monitoring and management of wetlands”.

To take better advantage of the expertise and practical experiences of the specialists who have been invited to participate in the Meeting, the following objectives will also be pursued:

"Opening a forum for the analysis and discussion of key issues related to the integrated management of wetlands".

"Sharing the results of research and information on wetland evaluation and management programs"

"Establish mechanisms for collaboration and partnership that will strengthen the current efforts to integrate the National Wetlands Inventory in Mexico"

Participants
